Planetarium opens new show tonight

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – The Planetarium at A&M-Commerce begins a new show tonight, Stars of the Pharaohs. The show delves into ancient Egypt to explore how the stars affected their myths and lives.

Stars of the Pharaohs is the third show to hit the domed screen of The Planetarium. Opened to the public in February, The Planetarium has already exceeded attendance expectations, according to A&M-Commerce President Keith McFarland.

McFarland:

The Planetarium is open to the public Fridays and Saturdays with shows at 7pm and 8pm. Each show is about 45 minutes. For more information, call 903.886.8652, or visit www.tamu-commerce.edu.
