Plea Of Not Guilty From Three Men Accused of Prostitution

Three men have pleaded not guilty in federal court to charges of forcing women into prostitution in El Paso.

43-year-old Alarcon Wiggins of Baltimore, the alleged ringleader, along with Mark Corey Williams and Deyonta Thompson waived their right to request bail on Monday. Wiggins entered his appeal in writing instead of appearing. The three men were part of a 10 member group arrested in October in Baltimore. They were accused of enticing a group of women to move to El Paso, where prosecutors allege they ran a forced prostitution ring and seized the women’s profits and cellphones so they couldn’t seek help.
