Poison Prevention Week in Commerce

By Kevin Jefferies

Commerce – The Commerce City Council in regular session last night presented a proclamation recognizing Poison Prevention Week. Mayor Sheryl Zelhart said the week is meant to raise awareness over many poisons, but especially those in the household.

ZELHART: With our increasing dependence on household chemicals, we need to be ever-diligent and aware of the hazardouse nature of those chemicals, and we need to make sure that they are stored properly and that children do not have access to them.
