– A lot of area political events are scheduled over the next several days.
Monday at 5 p.m. is the deadline to register to vote. Anyone who do wishes to participate in the races on the March 2 ballots have until then to make sure they are registered or make sure they are under the right address.
Also Monday, State Rep. Dan Flynn (R-Van) is hosting a rally in Greenville in support of the Second Amendment. Flynn (R-Van) has invited gun rights advocate and author Suzanna Hupp as the guest speaker for the event, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Landmark on Lee Street Downtown.
Wednesday, Incumbent State Sen. Bob Deuell (R-Greenville) is hosting a Hunt County Republican Rally. The event also features Lt. Governor David Dewhurst as guest speaker, starting at 6 p.m. in the Fletcher Warren Civic Center
