Lake Tawakoni – Officials were looking yesterday for someone who was reported to have jumped off the Two-Mile Bridge over Lake Tawakoni. The bridge was closed for a time, while units with Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Hunt County Sheriff, and East and West Tawakoni Police Departments began a search after a call was received around 4pm reporting that a man had jumped off the bridge.
A dive team from the Commerce Emergency Corps was also called in and officials were still conducting a surface search at sunset yesterday.
