Powderly – Two women are dead and a young boy injured in a possible murder-suicide in Lamar County.
Authorities have confirmed the shooting occurred in the Powderly area, about 12 miles north of Paris.
A mother is alleged to have gone to a home where her son was located and shot and killed a woman there. She is then said to have taken her nine-year-old son home with her where she shot him before turning the gun on herself.
The boy was flown to a Dallas hospital in unknown condition.
Names have not yet been released.
