Hunt County – Hunt County law enforcement has discovered a large pot farm by accident. Environmental Enforcement officers thought they were going to catch somebody improperly disposing of trash Monday but instead caught someone cultivating hundreds of marijuana plants. The individual was arrested, after which officers counted and pulled up some 700 marijuana plants on property off of County Road 3505, just north of Quinlan. The suspect remained in custody at the Hunt County jail Monday afternoon charged with possession of marijuana. His name has not been immediately released as he is schedule to be arraigned Tuesday.
