Pot Plane Pilot Could be Indicted This Week

heraldbanner.com

GREENVILLE - The alleged pilot, Darin Fayne, reportedly allegedly dumped bags of marijuana across Hunt County last July while flying a small plane over North Texas.

That led to the discovery of six duffel bags full of hydroponic marijuana. The street value of the drugs was estimated at up to $1.5 million.

The plane was abandoned at the Caddo Mills Airport and Fayne was arrested nearly two weeks later near his California home. He is free on bond.

Hunt County District Attorney Noble D. Walker Jr. says should the Hunt County Grand Jury have time Friday, the panel could issue indictments against Fayne for possession of marijuana and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon against a public servant.
