Greenville – Prison time awaits a Rockwall man, who pleaded guilty for driving while intoxicated and causing an accident in Greenville in June.
Raul Martinez Soto entered the plea Thursday for intoxication assault and endangering a child, as a three-year-old was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Under a plea bargain arrangement, Soto received five years in prison, plus another nine months in jail for the two charges.
Soto is alleged to have ignored a stop sign while crossing Highway 24. The woman driver he collided with suffered a broken lower back, broken rib and internal bleeding.
