Probation of attempted murder suspect revoked

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – Another arrest warrant has been issued for a former Greenville resident, charged for attempted capitol murder.

It is the second time that Lola Danielle Cherry has had her bond revoked on the charge this year.

During a hearing Thursday, Cherry's bond holder asked that her $50,000 bond be pulled after Cherry, who currently lives in Texarkana, Arkansas, failed to keep appointments, provide a change in address or check-in weekly as instructed.

A jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 25 for Cherry, who allegedly tried to suffocate her newborn child last fall. She has pleaded not guilty.
