By Brad Kellar

Hunt County – A South Hunt County resident has been placed on probation in connection to a stabbing last summer.

Larry Taylor Busby Jr., of West Tawakoni, pleaded guilty this week to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

As part of a plea deal, Busby will undergo ten years on probation, will complete 200 hours of community service, is to serve 90 days in jail and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. Busby also agreed to plead guilty to an unspecified case out of Kaufman County, provided that prosecutors agreed to offer probation.

The victim from last summer's stabbing was treated at a local hospital and released.
