This week, Luke visits with Will Herring, owner of Wild Boar Meats (www.wildboarmeats.com) in Hubbard Texas and discusses putting wild hog meat to good use. Herring's processing plant buys thousands of wild hogs each year and puts the meat to good use in the form of pet food. The demand for wild hogs is so great that the plant is currently expanding so that more hogs can be utilized.

Plans are for the construction of an additional plant to open later this year that will process wild pork to sell for human consumption. It's great to see all this wild pork being put to good use rather than left out in the fields and woods to fatten coyotes.
