– Monday is the final day residents can comment on the State Department's environmental impact study concerning the proposed Trans Canada Keystone Pipeline.
The controversial 1,700 mile tar sands oil pipeline would run from Canada, through several Northeast and East Texas counties to refineries on the Texas gulf coast. Local counties that would be impacted include Lamar, Delta, Hopkins and Wood counties.
