Public invited to learn more about BISD bond proposal

BONHAM - A series of meetings have been planned next week in Bonham to address the school district’s upcoming bond election.

All parents, guardians, and community members are invited to any of the scheduled information sessions to ask questions and tour the campuses of Bonham High School and I.W. Evans Intermediate. The $27.1 million proposal to appear on the November 8 ballot seeks various improvements to both schools, including more classrooms at I.W. Evans and a multi-purpose center at the high school.

Monday’s meetings are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the I.W. Evans’ library and cafeteria. Then on Tuesday, residents can attend one of two meetings at the high school at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

More information is available at 903-583-5526.
