After the shooting at Columbine High School in 1999, the Scott family has made it a priority to teach students about bullying and the effects that it can have, and how to get rid of bullying in their schools. Darryl Scott, the founder of Rachel's Challenge, is the father of Rachel Scott, the 17 year-old girl who was the first to be killed at Columbine.

Rachel's Challenge can be found within many school districts, including Wylie High School. This week, we speak with Wylie principal - and former Commerce Principal - Virdie Montgomery to discuss what Rachel's Challenge is and why it is important for local schools on The Morning Bell.

Daniel Starks speaks with Wylie High School principal Virdie Montgomery about an organization that teaches students about kindness and the distance that a simple act can go.
