As rain rolls in, region eyes area waterways, roads

A tropical depression is expected to make its way across North Texas and adjacent regions this morning.

Rainfall totals are expected to be highest around Grayson and Cooke Counties - raising concerns that water releases from Lake Texoma could cause flooding downriver along the Red River Valley.

As of 7:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, there are no roadways in Northeast Texas or North Texas that are closed due to flooding.
