RAINS COUNTY – The state will seek the death penalty against two defendants charged in the murder of Penny Caffey, according to the Rains County leader. The murder occurred in the early morning of March 1st when Caffey and her sons- 13 year old Matthew and 8 year old Tyler- were found murdered in their Alba home. Four people were taken into custody for the murder, including Caffey's 16 year old daughter.
