Washington – Representative Ralph Hall will be adding his voice to the objections of the military base closings in Texas. Hall said he was shocked that the Red River Army Depot and Lone Star Armory Ammunition Plant in Texarkana were targeted for closure. Hall also said he plans to work with local officials to help prepare a strong case for keeping the facilities open. The Base Realignment and Closure Commission has until September 8h to send final recommendations on base closures to President Bush.
