Record voter turnout expected today

By Brad Kellar

Hunt County – It could be a record day for voting in Hunt County. Voters will be deciding the races for the new Hunt County Sheriff, District Attorney and the first Judge for the Hunt County Court-at-Law No. 2, as well as multiple other races. Voters in the City of Greenville will be deciding whether to allow beer and wine sales at local stores, while residents in several area school districts are casting ballots for or against proposed tax increases and for school district board members. Polls will be open between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. today.
