COMMERCE - The University Convocation honoring Dr. R. N. Singh as the 2010-2011 Regents Professor for Texas A&M University-Commerce is Thursday, April 19 at 11 a.m. in the University Auditorium.
Faculty are to participate in full academic regalia and gather for the processional at approximately 10:45 a.m. in the first floor hallway of the Ferguson Social Sciences Building. Dr. John Ballotti, Senior Lecturer in Mass Media, Communication and Theatre, will line up and lead the faculty into the Auditorium. Faculty members unable to attend are to notify the relevant dean in advance.
In order for students, faculty, and staff to attend the Convocation, all classes and campus offices will be canceled/closed from 11 a.m. – noon Thursday, April 19.
