It’s been over 72 hours since the ice storm hit the region Friday morning, but Northeast Texas hasn’t quite recovered.
Electrical service crews, many from out of state, have been a common sight since the weekend, as workers have been laboring around the clock to restore electrical service to those who have been without power since Friday morning.
In Northeast Texas, Lamar County got the worst of it. Monday afternoon, the electricity provider Oncor said that most of the 5,000 customers in the Paris area who remained without power Monday morning should have their electricity back before Tuesday.
