By Scott Harvey

Commerce – The fifth annual Relay 4 Life at Texas A&M University-Commerce has relocated to the Field House due to weather. To date, A&M-Commerce has raised nearly $50,000 for the event. Accounting Chair for A&M-Commerce Relay 4 Life Trudy McNish says A&M-Commerce ranks 2nd in terms of raising money per capita amongst all Universities.

The University hopes to reach its goal of $70,000 by the event's conclusion. Last year, A&M-Commerce raised nearly $60,000 prior to the event itself, which was cut short due to weather.

In addition to the walk, food will be provided as well as a band, children's activities and line dancing to help raise money.
