– State Representative for District II Dan Flynn is working on a bill that would protect teachers involved in a violent crime at school.
He says the public school teachers should have the same treatment as law enforcement officers and have the same kind of protection if they are injured, shot or killed.
Flynn represents the citizens of Hunt, Rains and Van Zandt counties.
