Reward offered in Kaufman hit and run

Kaufman – Officials are seeking information about the driver in a hit-and-run crash on July 10 that killed a 20-year-old Kaufman man.

The Kaufman County Sheriff's office is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the driver of the vehicle that struck and killed Brandon Pate Simmons.
Simmons was walking on FM 429 about 5 a.m. on July 10 when he was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.

Anyone with information about the wreck, the location of the vehicle or who might have been driving it is urged to call DPS investigators in Terrell at 972-661-6010.
