Rhodes gets seven years for organized crime

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Greenville man has been sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to organized crime.

Gregory Scott Rhodes received seven years behind bars after entering the plea during a Wednesday hearing. Charges against more than a dozen individuals are still pending the case.

The alleged offenses targeted 47 people, mainly in Hunt County, between May and November 2010.

Rhodes has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors and testify, if needed, against any remaining defendants.
