A Commerce resident was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic accident near Cumby.
Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Kyle Bradford said Steffany Lee-Hall was pronounced dead at the scene of the one vehicle rollover on FM 275.
Lee-Hall, 42, was reported to be driving a 2003 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer southbound on the farm road at around 7 a.m. Wednesday when for an unknown reason the truck left the roadway.
“The vehicle traveled eastbound across a private drive in a side skid, hitting a trash can and overturning on the road,” Bradford said. “The vehicle overturned three times and the driver was ejected.”
The accident remained under investigation as of Wednesday evening. No additional details were immediately available.
