'Rookie' Takes The Field

In 1968, Alan Moore left behind his college football career when he headed off to serve in Vietnam. Now, at 61 years old, he's decided to pick up where he left off. He's a junior at Faulkner University in Alabama, where he's nabbed a spot on the team as a place kicker. His first game is Sept. 10. Faulkner's head coach says it took a while to stop calling his new player "sir."
