Royse City – Two former employees of the Royse City Municipal Court have been indicted for allegedly stealing about $36,000 from the court. 67 year old Glenda Harrell and her daughter Jennifer M. Hamilton are connected with thefts stemming back to 2002. Police say the women were taking payments for certain citations, and then marking them as dismissed in the computer system.
The discrepancies were noticed by a part time municipal court employee.
