Commerce, Greenville – The organization Christians Make a Difference, along with Communities in Schools are teaming up this weekend to distribute school supplies to area students whose families have been approved for assistance.
Back-packs filled with school supplies will be distributed to students who've applied for and been accepted to receive assistance. Distribution centers are at the Commerce Middle School, 606 Culver St., and Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Greenville, 6801 Wesley St. Each location will be open from 8 a.m. until 12 noon Saturday.
The program will assist approximately 400 students in need this fall.
