For the first time in ten years, the Texas A&M University-Commerce men's basketball team has an All-American. Senior forward Scooby Johnson was named to the third team. He is the only representative from the Lone Star Conference.
Scooby was 10th in the nation and led the conference in scoring at almost 21 points per game, fifth in the conference in rebounding, and in the LSC's top 15 in steals, offensive rebounds and defensive rebounds.
