Lake Tawakoni – A search for a man that may have jumped off the Two Mile Bridge over Lake Tawakoni has been called off. Personnel with Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Hunt County Sheriff, East and West Tawakoni Police, and the Commerce Emergency Corps were searching the area after a call of a possible jumper Wednesday afternoon.
Searchers had been unable to find anything and stories from witnesses concerning the jumper began to change as searching went on. Officials say the person may have made it to shore after the incident.
