Sentence handed down in Greenville robbery

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Collin County woman has pleaded guilty to a charge of aggravated robbery.

Melissa Lynn Terrazas was said to have acted with two other women in March in the assault of a female victim in Greenville while attempting to steal her purse.

Under a plea bargain arrangement, Terrazas, of Farmersville, was placed on 10 years probation. She was also sentenced to 100 days in the Hunt County Jail and has also agreed to testify against the remaining alleged co-actors in the offense.

Krystal Rodriguez and Vanessa Rodriguez, both of Greenville, have pleaded not guilty and have trials pending.
