Campbell – Sentencing is set for today in a Hunt County murder case.
James Ray Brown Jr. is scheduled to be sentenced in connection with the shooting death of his wife. He had previously entered an open plea of guilty to the charge.
Brown is facing a maximum sentence of from five to 99 years to life in prison.
His wife, Avis Baker Brown, was killed with a shotgun at the couple's residence in Campbell in October, 2008.
