Wolfe City – Services are pending for a Wolfe City resident, killed Tuesday night following a one vehicle accident just south of the city.
27-year-old Collin Owens was said to have rolled his pickup at around 9:30 p.m. on FM 512. According to Wolfe City Police, he was stable upon emergency arrival, but later died after being transported to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Owens is the son of Richard C. "Dickie" Owens, who is the operator of R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City where funeral services are pending.
There was still no word as of Wednesday night to what may have caused the crash. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
