Several local teams advance in basketball playoffs

ROYSE CITY - The Cooper Bulldogs are preparing for a Regional Quarterfinals matchup with the Whitewright Tigers Tuesday night in Royse City.

The Cooper boys advanced by defeating the Krum Bobcats Friday night 60-55. Tuesday's game in Royse City begins at 7 p.m.

Other local boy's teams competing in regional quarterfinal games Monday and Tuesday include: In Class A; Clarksville, Dodd City, Ector, Roxton, Saltillo and Yantis.
