Shooting reported in Greenville

Greenville – One person was injured and a suspect is still at large in a shooting Sunday evening in Greenville.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:08 p.m. Sunday in the Sayle Village Apartment complex located at 4104 Sayle Street. Upon arrival, officers with the Greenville Police Department discovered that a man had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim, whose name was not released, was transported by ambulance to Hunt Regional Health Center. His condition is unknown, but According to Officer Chris McCaslin, the individual's injuries were non-life threatening.

The incident remains under investigation.
