Shuttle service at 4th celebration

Commerce – A shuttle service will be running from parking lots nearby to the 4th of July Celebration in Commerce this year. Senior Center Resources and Public Transit will be offering the service from the Middle School and Commerce Hardware parking lots to Bi-Centennial Park. City Manager Bill Shipp said the service should be a great help.

SHIPP: That's one of the complaints we've received in the past. As the lot fills up down there right around the event, you have to park over in the school, over in Bobby Hill's shopping center, and that's a long walk in.

The shuttle service is free for everyone and begins at 6:30 on the evening of the fourth; running until after the fireworks show.
