HCSMfish.org

Sign-ups begin today for a county wide effort to help needy families this holiday season. Hunt County Shared Ministries, or "FISH" is one of 21 charities, service organizations, and businesses that are participating in "Hunt County Gives", a program with the emphasis this year in assisting families in need.

The goal of the drive is to help 1200 families across the county with one food basket per family.

The sign-ups will be conducted Monday through Friday at Crossroads Mall in Greenville between 9 a.m. and noon, and also from 5:30 the 7:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

Applications will be taken December 3rd through 7th at the FISH headquarters on King St. in downtown Greenville.

All families seeking assistance must bring proof of identification, a current lease agreement and a current utility bill that matches the address on the registration card.

Officials are also advising that families can come any day in the two weeks, and not just Monday.
