Simmons enters plea in Greenville robbery

By Brad Kellar

Greenville – A Collin County man has pleaded not guilty to robbing a Greenville bank. Justine DeShaun Simmons, of McKinney, was arraigned Wednesday in connection to a September 2009 holdup at the Bank of America.

An interim hearing has been scheduled for June 22 in the case.

Simmons was arrested two days following the alleged holdup. He was said to have provided investigators a full confession of his involvement in the robbery, as well as the name of an alleged accomplice.

No weapons were used and no one was hurt during the robbery.
