Six days later, Greenville police get their man
Brandon Cole Thompson, who eluded Greenville police last week, has been arrested.
Thompson had frustrated police on Jan. 31, when officers staked out his home in the 2300 block of Rabb Street for over 10 hours, only to raid the house to find it empty. Police had mad allowances for the possibility of Thompson being armed. Van Zandt County had issued a warrant for Thompson's arrest on a burglary charge that involved missing weapons.
Late Wednesday, police got a tip that Thompson had returned to his residence. Officers responded and arrested Thompson without incident. Thompson was placed in the Hunt County Jail, but has been released on bond, police said.
