Hunt County – A North Texas solider, killed while serving in Iraq, had ties to Hunt County. 20-year-old United States Army Specialist Jonathan D. Emard of Poetry is said to have attended Quinlan Ford High School, where he played football as a freshman before transferring to Boles High School. His body will arrive at Majors Field Municipal Airport in Greenville Thursday. Funeral services have been scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
