Songwriters are invited to come to downtown Commerce Thursday night to perform their original works. Country music writer, guitarist, and performer Brad Davis is reviving the lost art of songwriter's night.

Davis, a Fort Worth native who spent 24 years in Nashville, recently moved his family to the Commerce area and he has a recording studio in downtown Commerce.
Songwriters can sign up Thursday night at 7:30 and performances begin at 8 at Cowhill Express in downtown Commerce.
