By Kevin Jefferies

Wolfe City – Wolfe City has two new faces on the city council. Rodney Swinson and Stephanie Sheets won the seats in special election Saturday. Earlier resignations by David Caldwell and Wanda Dawson left the seats open. Former Wolfe City Mayor Johnny Lloyd was also in the running for one of the two unexpired terms.

Voting was held in the community room of the Wolfe City fire station. Final tallies had Swinson with 127 votes, Sheets with 124 votes, and Lloyd with 31 votes.
