Delta County resident Steve Favre of Riverview Farms was selected as the 2015 Area IV Outstanding Wildlife Conservationist in Jacksonville.
Secretary/Treasurer of the Association of Texas Soil & Water Conservation Districts David Basinger presented Favre with his award. Supporting him during his acceptance of the award was his wife Cindy, Michael and Kristi Townes, Clyde and Pat Waters, and Paul and Jennifer Dwyer.
Favre competed with other landowners from 54 counties and 37 different soil and water conservation districts.
