FANNIN COUNTY - More than $7,000 worth of drugs were reportedly seized and 33 arrests made following completion of a nearly seven month long narcotics investigation in Fannin County.
Sheriff Donnie Foster tells North Texas E-News that from the arrests, 52 felony and two misdemeanor charges have been filed. The investigators kicked off the round up operation with a series of “buy-bust arrests.” Arrests are still pending for six additional defendants.
Officials say that while time consuming, the investigation has resulted in additional leads into other cases. The Bonham Police Department also assisted in the raids.
