A special meeting of the Sulphur Springs City Council will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 125 South Davis.
A release identified two general topics for the meeting. One will concern the budget for the upcoming 2013-14 fiscal year.
The council will also discuss a proposed tax increase andschedule two public hearings to collect citizen input on the proposed tax increase.
