Greenville – A search firm is set to present the Greenville ISD School Board with a list of possible superintendent candidates. Arrow Education Services will begin presenting candidates to the GISD board this Saturday. It will be the first of several meetings that are expected to continue through February. Arrow has targeted February 20th as the date they wish to have the list narrowed down to one candidate for the position.
Former GISD superintendent William Smith retired last September after 35 years with the district. Buddy Echols is serving as interim.
