Superintendent search team, Middle School construction on agenda

SULPHUR SPRINGS - The Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees Monday night is scheduled to consider the hiring of a professional search firm to help in hiring a new superintendent. 

Current Superintendent Patsy Bolton announced last year that she would retire at the end of the school year. She’s been with the district for a total of 43 years, the last eight as superintendent. 

Board members will also hear a report on construction at the new middle school, which at last month’s meeting was said to be scheduled for completion in mid-January.
