SURRMA to meet Wednesday

More details about a plan to expand Highway 24 will be discussed this week. The Sulphur River Regional Mobility Authority (SURMMA) will meet this week and possibly take action on an application for pass through financing for the proposed Highway 24 project. The project will expand the ten mile section of the highway from Commerce to Paris from two lanes to four. The SURMMA board will meet Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center in Greenville.
