Greenville – A Dallas man was shot and killed Saturday following a chase through Greenville.
39-year-old Edward Markeist Wheaton died at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash following the pursuit, which ended at the intersection of Wesley and Stanford Streets.
Officers from three law enforcement agencies were reported to have fired "multiple rounds" on his vehicle. It was determined White was not armed at the time of the shooting.
Officers were notified Saturday of a reckless driver on I-30. Wheaton was said to have rammed his vehicle into two others, including a DPS vehicle, before the chase ended.
